Hi All!

So I have decided I will try to update my blog monthly. I am staying here in this park for the summer and very possibly through the winter. I really like it here!

June 1st marked 11 months living in my RV on the road! In reality it has been over a year now since I moved into my RV before I sold my house. I still love it. My RV (Wanda) is really comfortable and feels like home. It's nice not having to worry about a house (mortgage) and all the upkeep and utility bills.

The best part is knowing I can just pick up and move on whenever to wherever I want!

Had a great visit with Phil and Pam and Gavin. They flew to Denver to pick up their new really nice truck and stopped by here on their way home. It was a short visit but great to see them!! Unfortunately we didn't take a picture :-(

I finally took a drive up onto the National Monument. It is a 23 mile drive that goes right along the edge. There are several areas to pull off and hike to scenic views, which I did. There is a lot of history there.

Cool story!
I will be hiking to this spot from down below in the near future!!

Coal caves

Still loving the animals around. For some reason I'm getting animals coming to my site. We can't figure out why, I don't leave any food out. These ducks were sleeping here every night for a while.

There was a cat and then a stray dog that were also hanging out here, sorry, I didn't get pictures.
We have birds nesting at the shop too.....

And of course the geese! The babies are getting big!!

I am still learning to operate different equipment. Got to run the bobcat! That was really fun!!

And never get tired of spotting deer!!

I love the sunsets here.....

Went on another hike just across the river. It was really nice. The views were amazing. First 3+ miles were uphill. Did about 7 miles.

Happy face rock!

Almost half way at the turn around point, break time.

Very cool app that records where you go!! Play the video!

A few days later I had an awesome surprise visit from my friends Jim and Della from Fallon, Nv!! It was a short visit but great to see them! So glad they stopped by!

And last but not least....I did another mod in my "house". I added a counter extension on my kitchen island. I love it!!

Well I think that covers my month of May! Stay well everybody!!
