I know it's been a while since my last update. I have been very busy and I also have been without any hookups. In other words kinda livin off the grid, so wasn't able to keep my laptop charged.

Anyway, I spent a month in Texas taking care of some things and spending time with my daughter. It was a good time! The following are pictures from the month there:

Once I left Texas I pretty much headed straight up to Colorado. It was just too hot otherwise. My second night on the road landed me in New Mexico (Albuquerque). New Mexico was not wanting any out of state people camping there so I spent the night in a truck stop. Trucks pulled in on either side of me for the night. The next morning one truck was so close to me I couldn't get out of the trailer! So I had to climb out the back window, luckily it's an emergency exit! Whether he did it on purpose or not, who cares, it didn't stop me! Hahaha!!

I continued on to Durango, Co where I spent 10 days. Went sightseeing, hiking, and met up with long time friends from Salton City. It was a good time.

Picture of poop is fresh bear poop on my hiking trail! Some of the pictures are from Mesa Verde National Park where the cliff dwellers lived, really cool to see! Some are in Durango, cool town, and some are where I was camping, bambi came right to my door to visit.

This rock was hanging on the edge

From Durango I headed to the area of Monticello, Utah. First place I camped was at 8400' in the forest. It was really nice and the deer, cows and turkeys were all over. I really liked it but was not getting enough solar. I actually had to fire up my generator for the first time in years! I hate using the generator! So after a week there I moved to another place with no trees to block my solar. I was going to stay for 2 weeks before I was going to move to Moab. I again went sightseeing to Canyon Lands National Park, did lots of hiking, and met up with some more long time friends from Salton City. I also weathered sleet/ice storm, and an actual day of mostly snow and rain!

Just love the rock formations and scenery!

Another hike at Lloyds's Lake

And so just shy of being in Utah for 2 weeks I had a family emergency. So my life has been on hold for the last 3 weeks. Things are slowly going back to "normal". I am getting on the road in a few days and will be scouting out a place to hang for the winter.

Stay tuned for the next update.....hope everybody is well!
